Monthly Spanish Mass Starting in October 2022

An image of the Boland Hall Chapel. For over a dozen years Seton Hall University has offered a Monthly Spanish Mass for students, faculty, and administrators.

It is with great pleasure that Campus Ministry and the G. K. Chesterton Institute for Faith & Culture announce that the Monthly Spanish Mass at Seton Hall University will resume for the 2022-2023 academic year. The Masses are celebrated at St. Joseph's Chapel—Boland Hall—at 12:30 p.m. by Father Luis Garcia, Vice-Rector of St. Andrew's College Seminary.

Father Nicholas Sertich, director of Campus Ministry, remarks: "In a place like Seton Hall, where the cultural diversity of the university community is one of our greatest strengths, our team at Campus Ministry is proud to show our pastoral concern and loving support for the Spanish-speaking members of our campus family. Prayer in one's native language is, undoubtedly, one of the greatest witnesses to the universality of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and we are grateful to make that witness a living reality here at Seton Hall."

The dates are as follows:

Fall 2022:

  • October 5
  • November 9
  • December 7

Spring 2023:

  • February 1
  • March 1
  • April 19
  • May 3

We are grateful to Father Nicholas Sertich, Father Luis Garcia and to the staff at Campus Ministry for the continued support for the Monthly Spanish Mass.
