Assessment Champion

The Assessment Champion Awards celebrates individuals who have made exceptional contributions to nurturing a culture of improvement within the University. These individuals encourage the adoption of meaningful assessment practices that enhance the student experience. Recipients of this honor are dedicated advocates who understand the significance of gathering evidence, embracing reflective practices, and inspiring others to actively engage in the assessment process.

Outstanding Achievement in Assessment

The Outstanding Achievement in Assessment Award recognizes programs or units that have demonstrated remarkable progress in crafting comprehensive assessment strategies and implementing actionable plans, significantly contributing to well-informed decision-making. A noteworthy plan is characterized by clearly defined student learning outcomes or operational objectives, precise measures that align with these objectives, and well-defined benchmarks. These academic programs create curriculum maps that align student learning outcomes with courses and experiences within the program. Faculty and staff actively engage in discussions about the outcomes and are committed to continuous program improvement.
