Marva Cole-Friday, Director of Federal TRIO Upward Bound Program.
Prior to Seton Hall University, Ms. Cole-Friday served as the Director of the Student Support Services (SSS) program at Passaic County Community College. She was also the Director of the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) program at the College of Saint Elizabeth. She holds a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in English from Drew University and a Master’s of Science Degree from the College of Saint Elizabeth. Ms. Cole-Friday brings more than twenty years of experience working with first-generation, low-income students, helping them to develop a "learning mindset" to succeed.

Abena Douglas, Associate Director.
Prior to Upward Bound, Ms. Douglas was a Tutor/Mentor for GEAR UP Newark and is a graduate of Kean University with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. She has graduated from Seton Hall University with a M.A. in Psychological Studies.

Samantha Dow-Hankerson, Educational Coordinator.
Mrs. Dow-Hankerson was a counselor at NJIT Upward Bound program, prior to Upward Bound. She has 20 years combined as a counselor, adjunct professor and coordinator in Higher Education. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree from Bennett College. 

Keshia Crawford, Secretary.
Mrs. Crawford was the Secretary for 6 years in the TRiO Student Support Services Program at Passaic County Community College. While working for the program she also worked on her degree, in which she graduated in 2017 with an Associate's Degree in Humanities.
