Parking Deck
Precast concrete slabs that formed the nearly 600-space addition began arriving on campus at the end of February and were fully in place less than three months later. The University finished structural work and obtained a temporary certificate of occupancy by mid-summer.
Elevators were updated so that they can accommodate a stretcher, as per current safety guidelines. In addition, each of the elevators will have backup power in the event of an emergency. Throughout the deck, overhead lighting is being transitioned from incandescent bulbs to new LED lighting to reduce operating costs.
