Credit Evaluations

  1. Once you get your credit evaluation, please call or email the Transfer Student Center to set up an advising appointment or fill out our "Contact Us" form to get your name on the Transfer Student Center Call List. You should receive a call back within 48 hours (or 2 days). You do not have to be deposited in order to meet with the Transfer Center, but you should have your credit evaluation. An official credit evaluation is required for you to be properly advised.

Pay Student Deposit

  1. Once you get your credit evaluation and you schedule an appointment through the Transfer Student Center, you will need to pay the following deposits in order to register for the upcoming semester. If you are just coming in to talk with an adviser to find out more about a program, there is no requirement to deposit. The deposit payments are only for those who plan to register for classes.

Registration Deposit: $250
Housing Deposit: $375 (only if you plan to live on campus)

Health Service Forms

  1. Before starting classes you also need to fill out the Health Services Immunization Form, which can be found on the Okta homepage once you sign in to PirateNet. For more information on what is needed, we recommend calling Health Services at (973) 761-9175 or call The Transfer Student Center if you need guidance on how to get to the form through your PirateNet Portal.

  2. Lastly, make sure that all your credits and grades from the courses you completed at your previous school are on the transcript. It is important that the most updated transcript is in Seton Hall's possession, as that ensures your adviser has the most accurate information on your previous school history.

If you have additional questions on the checklist, please contact the Transfer Student Center. We will make sure that you get the information you need to complete the registration process.
