The Center for Diaconal Formation will begin offering Spiritual Enrichment for wives of permanent deacons and deacon candidates beginning in the spring 2015.
As the permanent diaconate continues to emerge so, too, does the role and spiritual needs of the wives of the deacon. They also need spiritual nourishment in their own journey. While they walk side by side with their husbands, they have their own ministries, to their families and their communities. They are blessed by the Grace of the Sacrament of Marriage. How do we help them to call on that Grace and enrich them in their own adventure?
In order to assist these women in cultivating their own spirituality, the Center for Diaconal Formation is launching their first of three Inspirational Mornings of Reflection. These mornings will be offered one each semester, over a year. The reflective meditations will take women through a scriptural adventure with Women at the Tomb, Women at the Well and Women at the Cross.
Join us on April 25, 2015 for our first morning of the journey offered by Dianne Traflet, J.D., S.T.D., Associate Dean and Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology at Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology. All wives of permanent deacon candidates and deacons are invited.

Save the dates for future offerings to be held November 7, 2015 and April 16, 2016.
