A Milestone Year for Seton Hall’s Irish Mass and Reception

Sponsors of this celebration of Catholic faith and Irish heritage are Pirates of Irish Persuasion & Extraction (PIPE), Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology, and the University's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.

Mass will be celebrated by Monsignor Michael Walsh in the University's Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 14. Parts of the Mass will be said in Irish, and parts in English. The musical selections for the Mass will include Irish-inspired hymns. All are welcome!

Photo from the 2019 Irish language post-mass reception.Following the Mass will be a light reception at 4 p.m. in the Seminary Refectory in Lewis Hall. Hors d'oeuvres and soft drinks will be served.

At the reception, an uilleann piper will provide musical entertainment. All attendees at the reception will be entered to win door prizes generously donated by area businesses.
