First issued in November 2009, Faculty & Administration News (FAN) is a quarterly publication of Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology. The aim of this newsletter is to share with readers the many accomplishments of ICSST's faculty and administrators.

  • Reverend Monsignor Gerard H. McCarren, S.T.D., serves at Institute for Priestly Formation's Summer Program for Diocesan Seminarians.
  • Reverend Christopher M. Ciccarino, K.C.H.S., S.S.L., S.T.D., elected to Board of Commissioners of the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada.
  • Dianne M. Traflet, J.D. '88, S.T.D., honored at ICSST’s 2022 Judge Roger W. Breslin Cornerstone Golf Classic; serves as featured speaker at Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving for newly-canonized St. Titus Brandsma.
  • Justin M. Anderson, Ph.D., presents "Diversity: A Catholic View," and Víctor Velarde-Mayol, M.D., Ph.D., presents "The Physics of Time," as part of SHU's Petersheim Academic Exposition 2022 Research Showcase.
  • Joseph P. Rice, Ph.D., publishes monograph: The Non-Exchangeable Man:  Economic Renewal Following the Mind of Pope John Paul II.
  • Ellen R. Scully, Ph.D., publishes co-edited book: New Narratives for Old: The Historical Method of Reading Early Christian Theology:  Essays in Honor of Michel René Barnes; serves as invited panelist for both North American Patristics Society and Lumen Christi Institute.
  • Reverend Monsignor Thomas G. Guarino, K.H.S., S.T.D., interviewed by Catholic News Service on St. Vincent of Lérins, for article titled "Quo Vadis? Pope Revitalizes Ancient Theologian's Rules as a Timely Guide."
  • Deacon Andrew E. Saunders, M.A. '08, interviewed on Sirius XM on feast of St. Lawrence, deacon and martyr and patron saint of the permanent diaconate.
  • More than five dozen pastoral and professional presentations.
