Passwords and Authentication
Each active member of the University is provided with a PirateNet user name and password that gives the user access to the campus network and many other University systems, including the University wireless network, computer printers, and the University portal.
Upon depositing, accepted undergraduate students receive their user credentials, including user name and password, via e-mail from Undergraduate Admissions.
Graduate students receive their user credentials from the School/College administering the program to which they have been admitted.
- Students are required to change their passwords every 365 days.
- Faculty passwords expire 180 days after the last password change.
- Employee, vendor and contractor passwords expire 180 days after the last password change.
