Digital Humanities Seed Grant Showcase, April 5, 2019  

The Teaching, Learning, and Technology Roundtable Best Practices Committee is pleased to announce the Digital Humanities Seed Grants Projects Showcase. The event will take place on Friday, April 5, 2019, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the Walsh Library – Learning Studio and will consist of presentations from six Seed Grant recipients. In addition to the seed grant recipients Mary Balkun’s students will present on their projects.

The recipients presenting and their topics are as follows:

  • Martha Carpentier, Arts & Sciences – Mapping Ulysses
  • Gregory Glazov, Theology - Database of Scripture Citations in Jewish and Catholic Theological Responses during and after the Holocaust
  • Gregory Iannarella, Arts & Sciences – Language Landscapes - First Year Writing
  • Nalin Johri, School of Health and Medical Sciences - IHAD (ICPSR and Health Administration Datasets)
  • Elizabeth McCrea, Stillman School of Business - Integrating Digital Humanities Tools into the Business Humanities Initiative
  • Sung Shim, Stillman School of Business - Analyzing and visualizing the data from SAP ERP simulation games
