Student Leadership Conference

Saturday, October 13th at 9 a.m.

The Student Leadership Conference will be held on Saturday, October 13th. Check-In will open at 9:00 a.m., with the conference beginning at 9:30 a.m. and commencing at 12:45 p.m. There will be an optional luncheon on the Green sponsored by the Student Government Association from 1:00-2:30 p.m.

What to expect:

  • Developing leaders will learn the skills they need to assume leadership positions on campus.
  • Experienced leaders will enhance their skills to surpass their boundaries. 
  • Opportunities for all to network with other student leaders, alum, and faculty/staff. 
  • Special track for Seniors planning for life after graduation.

You will be inspired to do more & be more! The first 150 students to register receive a limited edition conference t-shirt!

Registration for the Student Leadership Conference will close Wednesday, October 10th at 12:00 p.m.

Optional Pre-Conference Institute

Friday, October 12th
Pre-conference institutes provide students with an intimate personal and professional development experience ahead of the larger Student Leadership Conference. Get to know other student leaders on campus while engaging in this 2-hour leadership experience. Students may select both of the following institutes to participate in:

6-8 p.m.: Gateway to Leadership. Have you always wanted to be considered a leader but not known where to get started? This interactive pre-conference session is an opportunity for students to get more in touch with the leader inside each of them! You will be able to explore different leadership styles, connect with other students to create a community, identify leadership opportunities across campus, and create your road-map to being a successful leader both on and off-campus. If you are looking for a way to kick-start your collegiate career by exploring your inner-leader, don’t miss out on this experience!

Interested in Presenting?

Presenting at the Student Leadership Conference will build your public speaking skills and give you an opportunity to share your knowledge with peers. For more information and to submit a proposal please fill out this form.

Volunteers Needed!

Another great way to enhance your conference experience is to take some time to volunteer. From assisting with check in to ensuring a smooth educational session, volunteers assist with a range of tasks that will ultimately guarantee a seamless conference experience.
