Murray Edelman

Murray Edelman is a consultant on survey methodology with the Seton Hall Sports Poll. For ten years, he was in charge of the exit polls and projections used by ABC, CBS, CNN, FOX, NBC and the Associated Press.

Edelman has also been a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Rutgers University and an adjunct associate professor at Columbia University. He has served as president of the American Association of Public Opinion Research, ( www.aapor.org) and received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the New York Chapter.

He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research. He received his Ph.D. in human development from the University of Chicago.
