Dr. Christopher Cuccia is the Associate Provost for Academic and Graduate Affairs, and Institutional Research. From the outset of his tenure with the University in November of 2014, he has contributed to promoting the operational efficiency, compliance, and reporting infrastructures in the Office of the Provost & Executive Vice President. Presently, Dr. Cuccia heads the Office of Graduate Affairs. In this capacity, he ultimately oversees all aspects of graduate application processing and systems administration, spearheads graduate analyses and reporting, and collaborates with the faculty on the conceptualization and development of new programs. In addition, he provides strategic leadership and direction to the Offices of Institutional Research and International Programs and leads or contributes to a variety of other projects and committees within Academic Affairs.

Erik Lillquist is the Associate Provost for Strategy & Finance. In that role, he focuses on academic administration in the areas of University policy, budget and finance, human resources, and long-term strategy. Professor Lillquist provides financial and budgetary oversight for all of the centers and units that report through the Provost's Office, including all of the Colleges and Schools of the University. He also coordinates with the Department of Human Resources on employment policies and personnel matters for all academic areas, and he works with the College and Schools of the University in assessing their hiring needs and coordinating their faculty hiring. In addition, he works with the Assistant Provost for Faculty Affairs on the development and revision of academic policies, including the Faculty Guides. Professor Lillquist also provides counsel to the Provost on other matters, including issues related to technology and intellectual property.

Dr. Jonathan Farina is Professor of English and Interim Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education and Assessment. In his role as Associate Provost, he supports the growth of our undergraduate degree-granting and special programs, and leads accreditation, program review, and assessment coordination efforts at the University. Dr. Farina works with the deans in the colleges to ensure students have sufficient courses and excellent co-curricular academic experiences to help new undergraduate degree programs emerge and existing ones to thrive. Finally, he works with the Academic Affairs team to implement the Strategic Plan and promote academic excellence.

The Assistant Provost for Faculty Affairs reports directly to the Provost and is responsible for faculty development, interests, and welfare. In collaboration with the University's schools and colleges, the Assistant Provost supports the standardization of policies that support academic excellence, advances the University's academic and strategic plan initiatives, and supports the Catholic mission. The Centers report to the Assistant Provost; and with the Associate Provost for Strategy and Finance, the Assistant Provost oversees the Director of the Core. The Assistant Provost assist in drafting responses on matters of academic policy, procedure, resolutions of the faculty senate, and grievance appeals.

Dr. Kurt W. Rotthoff is a Special Advisor to the Provost for Institutional Effectiveness. Dr. Rotthoff focuses on providing data-driven reports to help optimize the university's resources with strategic and management decisions. He also assists the Associate Provost for Academic and Graduate Affairs and the Associate Provost for Strategy and Finance. Additionally, he works with the Dean of Continuing Education and Professional Studies with data for that school and helping the dean with her strategic future.
Dr. Rotthoff is also a Professor of Economics and Finance in the Stillman School of Business. His research interests include applied microeconomics, financial economics, and industrial organization, with a focus on the application of economics and finance to the sports industry and the economics of education. He holds a B.S. from Westminster College (PA), and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Clemson University (SC).

This position plays a critical role in helping to advance academic initiatives and projects, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and foster collaboration and coordination among the administrative staff of the Provost's and President's office. This position deals with all academics, including facilitating the Rank and Tenure process.

Christine Yarwood is the Executive Assistant and Special Projects Coordinator to the Provost/EVP. Christine provides extensive administrative support to the Provost and the Office of the Provost. She is a key liaison between the provost and all constituents, stakeholders and direct reports for key communications. Other key responsibilities include facilitating projects and assignments to meet goals and objectives warranted by the Provost.
