Founding Director of the Stillman School of Business Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She created the Seton Hall University Entrepreneur Hall of Fame, the Pirates Pitch Startup Contest, which awards $16,000 to Seton Hall entrepreneur students annually, and the annual Pirates Pitch for High School Students Contest, which offers top high school entrepreneurs $50,000 in scholarships and prizes. She also launched an entrepreneur boot camp for undergraduate students, and the Pirates LaunchPad summer accelerator program. Scherreik was named a Top 25 Leading Woman Entrepreneur/Intrapreneur of New Jersey in 2016. She was a judge in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Competition/New Jersey for seven years. Additionally, Scherreik is the lead organizer of UPitchNJ, an innovative statewide collegiate business competition that involves 14 New Jersey universities and is sponsored by Nokia Bell Labs. Scherreik is the instructor of BMGT 4567 Entrepreneurship Lab, a three-credit undergraduate entrepreneurship course that is the most advanced offering in the entrepreneurship concentration and the entrepreneurship certificate program. She has been a speaker at national education conferences and is quoted frequently in the press.

Scherreik was formerly an editor at Business Week magazine. She holds an M.B.A. in finance from Columbia University, where she was a Knight-Bagehot Fellow.
