Kathryn Lancioni is a Faculty Associate in the Department of Public Relations at Seton Hall University and an author, consultant, coach, and motivational speaker.
As a Seton Hall University faculty member since 2018, she oversees the undergraduate public relations program. She enjoys helping students discover and experience the nuances of the rapidly changing and continually expanding field of public relations.
Ms. Lancioni is the faculty advisor to Seton Hall University’s PRSSA chapter, Latour Public Relations Agency and Bateman Public Relations team. She also manages the department’s CHAMP and Internship programs. Ms. Lancioni teaches an array of public relations courses ranging from: Public Relations Research, Crisis Management and Non-profit Public Relations to Client Management and the department’s Public Relations Capstone course.
As a public relations practitioner, she has counseled dozens of clients of all sizes and industries on tackling issues relating to public relations, investor relations and branding. These clients have ranged from Silicon Valley tech start-ups to global multi-national corporations to fledgling non-profits. She has experienced the public relations industry from several vantage points: as a journalist, a PR agency executive and a corporate communications executive. She has taken companies public on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), served as a corporate spokesperson and guided the communication campaigns of several corporate mergers.
Ms. Lancioni has presented at numerous regional and national communication and business conferences. She is the author of two books: Communication Research and Public Relations: The Changing Global Landscape, as well as a frequent contributor to several local and regional publications.
She serves on the advisory board for Entrepreneurship at Cornell University, is the co-director of i. WILL NJ and a member of PRSA (Public Relations Society of America). Ms. Lancioni is also an active member of CAAN (Cornell Alumni Advisory Network), CEN (The Cornell Entrepreneur Network), Ellevate New York and BCWPN.
