Yolanda Jackson is a young emerging leader who has worked in higher education for approximately 10 years. Ms. Jackson has a bachelor’s degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration and a Master’s in Public Administration from Rutgers University. Ms. Jackson’s professional skills include pre-college program management, college admissions and recruitment, enrollment management, academic advisement, professional development and training and program evaluation. Ms. Jackson is dedicated to being a catalyst for students from diverse backgrounds as they gain access to post-secondary education. Ms. Jackson is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Education Leadership, Management and Policy at Seton Hall University. Though Ms. Jackson has seen increasing progress in her career, her proudest moments are found when she mentors emerging leaders in education. Ms. Jackson believes that once leaders have begun to experience success, they have responsibility to “Pay it Forward.” Her greatest accomplishments are found through the success of the young professionals she has the pleasure of mentoring. Ms. Jackson’s core values are rooted in faith, public service, education and empowerment. Ms. Jackson desires to carry these values out through her passion, life’s purpose, profession and by impacting every community that she belongs to.
