Dr. La’Tesha Sampson's professional journey extends far beyond academia. She holds licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in multiple states and is a multifaceted individual with a diverse range of accomplishments. Her remarkable skills and talents encompass various roles such as author, grant writer, corporate and nonprofit trainer, program facilitator, media personality, and entrepreneur. Her expertise has been recognized nationally, with features in esteemed media outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Star-Ledger, Thrive Global, NBC News 4, and TV One's Fatal Attraction.

In addition to her numerous achievements, she also serves as the Executive Director of the Great Joy Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit organization based in New Jersey. The corporation's noble mission is to empower individuals and families, fostering unwavering strength to elevate their quality of life, cultivate self-sufficiency, and foster profound, enriching connections in various aspects of their lives, including dynamic relationships, prosperous careers, educational pursuits, and holistic wellness endeavors.

As a professor who has served in the Master of Social Work departments at the University of New England, Rutgers University, the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, and Kean University, Dr. La’Tesha is currently serving as Director, of MSW Field Education at Seton Hall University.
