McKenna Schray, Ph.D., is an Instructor of Public Relations within the College of Communication and the Arts at Seton Hall University. She teaches public relations and communication courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in student engagement theory and active learning strategies. She considers it her duty to encourage and challenge, instill a standard of excellence, and inspire the next generation of leaders in the field. As a product of lifelong Catholic education and three-time Pirate, she takes great pride and honor in giving back to the University and College that has given so much to her.

She previously served as an Adjunct Instructor for the College, an Associate Director of Engagement and Experience for the College, and a Graduate Assistant for the University's Office of Media Relations. Her early career includes professional experiences at Shoba, Scholastic, Coyne PR, MTV, and Comedy Central. Her research interests include public relations education, social media, corporate communication, reputation management, and Catholic higher education.
