Hired in 2019, Dr. Sorochuk is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing and Decision Sciences, where he teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses. Holding a PhD in Management Science, Dr. Sorochuk taught at the University of Wyoming for three years as Assistant Professor of Decision Science where he earned awards for both teaching and research. In addition, prior to joining Seton Hall he worked in industry as a pricing and optimization expert on over 100 software projects for clients in Australia, Canada, South Africa and the United States including HP, McKesson, AutoZone and Caltex. Dr. Sorochuk’s research interests include process measurement and optimization, modeling consumer behavior, and revenue management under stochastic conditions.
