Law School Application Process: Selecting a Law School

Deciding where to apply, and where to attend law school once you have been accepted, is a highly personal decision. Many factors should be considered, including school reputation, location, cost, and academic/clinical specialties and offerings. Law schools welcome prospective students to visit their campuses, and the LSAC’s Law Forums, held each fall around the United States, are an excellent opportunity to get first-hand information from admissions representatives. For more information, consult the website of the Law School Admissions Council as well as the 2019 Handbook for Pre-Law Students »

The LSAC’s Law Forums, held each fall around the United States, are also an excellent opportunity to get first-hand information from admissions representatives; many Seton Hall University students attend the New York Law School Forum in October.
