Parents' Association

Parents of all students admitted to Seton Hall University are members of the Parents Association, which promotes increased parent support of the university through philanthropic giving, volunteering, attending on- and off-campus events, and staying connected to the university. No dues are charged for membership.

The executive body of the Parents' Association is the Parents Leadership Council. Directed by University Advancement, the council provides parents with a forum for discussion between the parent community and university leadership and faculty.

Participating in the Parents Association is an excellent way to stay connected as a part of the Seton Hall Family and to support the education of your son or daughter.

Benefits of membership include:

  • Subscription to What's New @ SHU, the parents' bimonthly e-newsletter designed specifically for parents with timely information from campus. If you are not receiving the e-newsletter, and would like to, please subscribe online.
  • Being a well-informed parent;
  • Opportunity to serve on special volunteer committees;
  • Invitations to University events;
  • Opportunity to be part of the Parents Leadership Council

Once again, you are automatically considered a member of the Parents' Association; however, we request that you activate your membership so you can receive all of the member benefits as described above. Membership is free, so please take the opportunity to activate your membership today.
