Adam Silver, commissioner of the National Basketball Association, along with ESPN commentators Bob Ley '76 and Stephen A. Smith, discussed the business of sports and media ethics at the Seton Hall Sports Business and Media Ethics Symposium.
The event, which covered a wide range of topics, including sports gambling, amateurism, and the role of sports in American culture, was sponsored by the Center for Sport Management in the Stillman School of Business and the Sports Media minor in the College of Communication and the Arts.
At the event, Stillman Professor Charles Grantham, director of the Center for Sport Management and former executive director of the National Basketball Players Association, interviewed Adam Silver.
Hall of Fame ESPN sportscaster and Seton Hall alumnus Bob Ley interviewed fellow ESPN host and commentator, Stephen A. Smith of First Take. Video of this conversation is available here.
