Housing 10 schools and colleges and a plethora of departments, centers and institutes at Seton Hall University, there are ample opportunities to get involved on campus through the various events that are offered. The new, official Seton Hall calendar is an important tool that will help students, faculty, staff and alumni discover and stay informed about the many happenings across our three campuses.
Michael Hyland, Director of Web and Digital Communications for Seton Hall University, said the calendar is geared to be a one-stop-shop for all campus events and activities.
"There's so much happening on our campuses each week, it can be challenging to promote all our special programs and events to the right audiences. We've worked to insure this new calendar will be a centralized, accessible and effective resource to help raise awareness about everything happening in our community."
Additionally, the calendar allows departments, schools and other University units to create their own sub-calendars to share and promote their own events. The designee will receive training on the calendar system and will be able to publish events instantly to the platform for all to see.
Events can also be featured on the homepage, are integrated throughout the website, and are included in the event listing in the Inside the Hall email newsletter which is sent to the community every Monday.
