Survivors: A Panel On The Holocaust

Adela DubovyIn recognition of Yom HaShoah, the German club and SHU Hillel will bring in Adela Dubovy to speak about her experiences involving the Holocaust on Monday, April 26th from 6-8 p.m.

The students responsible for organizing this event are Hillel executive board members, Samantha Bernstein, Leah Dubovy, and Noah Dubovy & German club executive board members, Laura Rogers, Kiara Webster, Annabel Edle Von Schickh, and Tim Dziekan. With the passing of Yom HaShoah on April 7th, the Hillel and German Club thought it would be great to have a Holocaust survivor to speak about their experiences.

The event will be focused on the special guest, Adela Dubovy, and her Holocaust story. Adela is Noah and Leah’s grandmother, and has agreed to speak about her experience before, during, and after the war.
