Seton Hall University Students Lead Inspiring Retreat

Join and support our next generation of Church leaders on Saturday, April 18, 2009, as Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology presents a retreat led by its very own graduate students.

“Beholding the Merciful Face of God” is open to all and will take place from 1 - 5 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Seminary in Lewis Hall.

The registration fee is $10.  Please make all checks payable to Immaculate Conception Seminary. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged; R.S.V.P. to Deborah Kurus at (973) 313-6329 or kurusdeb@shu.edu.

“Beholding the Merciful Face of God” culminates the lessons that the students leading the retreat have learned through their classes. These students have gained experience and practice in the skill of public speaking, which is necessary for those who will lead their parishes in the future.

Students will discuss such enlightening topics as:

  • "Beholding the Merciful Face of God in the Garden"
  • "To See the Face of God"
  • "The Scarlet and the Black: Lessons from a Merciful Priest on the Merciful God"
  • "The Devotion to Divine Mercy: A Gift to Life"
  • "Living in the Image of Grace and Likeness of Mercy"

“Beholding the Merciful Face of God” is sponsored by the Center for Prayerfully Speaking, Institute for Christian Spirituality.
