Seton Hall Hosts Virtual Admissions Sessions  

The virtual infosessions about Seton Hall's academic programs cover topics ranging from information about specific majors to the various course offerings from each academic program.

Seton Hall University and its academic programs are offering virtual information sessions, which cover topics of interest for prospective and admitted students as well as parents in response to COVID-19 and the state-wide temporary closure of physical campuses. 

The University's virtual sessions cover topics which range from the college search to the application process and are designed to answer any questions students (or their parents) may have about applying and enrolling at Seton Hall. The virtual presentations include a live presentation from admission counselors and a real time Q&A with students. Sessions are offered at 3:30 p.m. (Eastern) daily, but each day of the week is dedicated to either admitted students (Monday and Thursday), prospective students (Tuesdays and Fridays) and Transfer Students (Wednesdays). Seton Hall's virtual events for prospective and admitted students have been widely "attended." The exclusive event for admitted students, Pirate Preview, which was recently transformed into a virtual production, drew an estimated 1,200 attendees during the event plus 2,000 total site visitors. Last week's Virtual Open House topped that, with more than 2,200 unique users accessing the web site.

Additional resources included presentations from each individual school and college, as well as testimonials from current students. In addition, Director of Undergraduate Admissions Mary Clare Cullum and her team produced a 360-degree video which provides the impression of a live campus tour so that students can have a better sense and feel for the actual physical space of the University. 

In regard to making Seton Hall a reality for our incoming freshman class, Cullum says, "We are working harder than ever before."
