The Department of Religion and Peace Islands Institute will present Abraham's Table, a lunch and learn program , on
Wednesday, December 9 at 11:30 a.m. in the Chancellor's Suite in the Bishop Dougherty Student Center. The topic of discussion by representatives of the three Abrahamic religions - Judaism, Christianity and Islam - is the meaning of the word Peace in each religious tradition.
Panelists speaking about Peace will be Rabbi Alan Brill, Cooperman -Ross Endowed Chair in honor of Sister Rose Thering; Dr. Jason Tramm, Associate Professor of Music; Anisa Mehdi, documentary film maker and student in the Department of Jewish-Christian Studies; and Dr. Anthony Sciglitano, Chairman, Department of Religion.
The program is free and open to the Seton Hall Community. Reservations for lunch are necessary. Please call (973) 761-9006.
