The Joseph W. Andrushkiw Competition is an annual mathematics problem-solving competition for New Jersey high school students that is sponsored and hosted by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Seton Hall University. Monetary prizes will be awarded to the top-scoring students. Plaques are also awarded for the five highest team scores. For more information about the competition click here »
The 90-minute exam consists of 16 questions weighted with respect to their degree of difficulty. The subjects covered include Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Theory of Equations, Combinatorics, Probability and miscellaneous elementary topics in Mathematics.
Calculators may not be used.
