Latino Institute Hosts First Cafe con Joes of the Year

A coffee cup during a coffee break. On February 5, the Seton Hall community and the Joseph A. Unanue Latino Institute will ring in the new year by celebrating their first Café con Joes of 2020.

Café con Joes is a monthly series for the Joseph A. Unanue Latino Institute Scholars and students involved in the Institute. Every month, the series covers a new topic, ranging from arts, sciences and business to philanthropy, communications and professional development.

This month, the event will focus on New Year's Resolutions. Plans for the event include discussions on ways to better themselves for the upcoming year. The Institute will also be creating vision boards. These boards will help students and faculty help them maintain focus on specific goals through pictures and words. This event will allow members of the class of 2020 to discuss plans after graduation, like graduate school or job searching.

Also, talks about future events, like the ABC Panel and Women's History Month panel, will be discussed

The event will be hosted in Fahy Hall in room 246 at 3:30 p.m. Empanadas and coffee will be available throughout the day for scholars and students.
