Students who graduate with a BS in Interprofessional Health Sciences will:    

  1. Demonstrate effective interprofessional communication in the health science and healthcare setting. (Assessment: Student skills and knowledge assessments in IPHS 2511, in student’s Capstone, and during Internship);
  2. Demonstrate critical thinking about the state of health and healthcare. (Assessment: Student skills and knowledge assessments in IPHS 2510 with critical thinking proficiency, IPHS 4510, in student’s Capstone, and during Internship);
  3. Demonstrate critical reading and understanding of health science, care and sector research. (Assessment: Student skills and knowledge assessments in IPHS 3550, in student’s Capstone);
  4. Demonstrate application  of statistical skills used in health science and healthcare research. (Assessment: Student skills and knowledge assessments in IPHS 3550, in student’s Capstone);
  5. Demonstrate social determinants of health awareness, knowledge, and applied strategies. (Assessment: Student skills and knowledge assessments in IPHS 2510, IPHS 4510, IPHA 2535, IPES 4645).
