Director of International Programs/PDSO/RO
Maria has served as the Director of the Office of International Programs since 2012. She oversees study abroad as well as international student and scholar services at Seton Hall University. As an alumna of Seton Hall University, Maria received her Master's in International Relations. During her undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware she pursued a study abroad year in Japan. Her study abroad experience and triple degree in Italian, Spanish and Japanese led her to pursue a career in student mobility. Maria speaks five languages and loves to travel! Some of her adventures have led her to Israel, Turkey, Peru, South Korea, numerous countries in Europe and more! Maria's favorite part about her job is encouraging students who have never traveled abroad to get out and see the world.

Assistant Director of International Programs /DSO/ARO
Doug joined the Office of International Programs in March 2021. In his role as Assistant Director, Doug supports the mission and operations of OIP for both study abroad and international students. Doug is a double alumnus of St. John's University and spent over five years at his alma mater growing, designing and leading immersive study abroad programs on-the-ground in Rome. Beyond Italy, Doug has traveled through five continents and is excited to share his passion for international education with the Seton Hall community. He is focused on creating engaging platforms for cultural immersion and sustainable travel practices. Doug is here to help every Seton Hall student translate their passions into life-changing international experiences!

Victoria O. Utoh
Sr. Assistant Director of Admissions Operations/DSO
Victoria joined the Office of International Programs team in October 2020. Her main responsibilities are assisting current and prospective international students. She also works at the Office of Graduate Affairs as the Senior Assistant Director of Graduate Affairs Operations. Victoria's passions include diversity, equity and inclusion, advocating for children's rights and African literature. After graduating, she hopes to work on a team that advocate for diversity and inclusion.

Favorite place to travel: Pretty much anywhere in the African Diaspora and Middle East!
Carolina joined the Office of International Programs on the Spring of 2019. She has held many responsibilities through her time on the team including assisting the public relations and marketing efforts and communicating with current and prospective international students. Carolina is passionate about traveling, learning new languages and cooking. After graduation she plans to pursue her Master's in Marketing and International Business and ultimately work at a multinational company and build her own company!

Favorite place to travel: South America! But I would love to go to Europe once the pandemic is over.
Patlene (Pat) S Denis
Patlene joined the team in January 2021 as a student worker. She assists the team in welcoming current and international students. She is originally from Haiti and currently resides in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. Pat is fluent in French and Haitian-Creole. She is currently the vice president of the Black Student Union and is a representative on the Black Caucus Cabinet. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and catching up on her favorite tv series.

Andrea (Andy) Angulo
Andrea joined the Office of International Programs team in January 2020 as a student worker. She assists incoming and current international students through various public relations and marketing initiatives. She's a passionate foodie and enjoys learning new languages. After graduation, Andrea hopes to work in a career where she's helping others.

Favorite place to travel: Anywhere! I love to travel to new countries and learn about new cultures! So far, I've been to Spain, Brazil, Mexico, the Bahamas, Colombia, and Ireland.
Student Worker Public Relations Coordinator
Angelica joined the Office of International Programs in Fall 2020 as a Graduate Assistant. As a MA in public relations, Angelica is interested in marketing and public relations initiatives. She hopes to continue her journey in consulting clients and traveling the world. She is passionate about learning new languages and reading new books.
