Working with members of the community is an aspect of the Seton Hall M.S. in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) program that students and faculty truly embrace. Not only do the graduate students participate in fieldwork assignments within clinical facilities throughout the region, but also they design, implement and lead group-based experiences promoting health and wellness in local communities.
The MSOT students recently organized a health fair for older adults and community members at the JCC MetroWest in West Orange, New Jersey. The students hosted interactive stations to address vision, productive aging, fall reduction, balance and technology.
