Board of Advisors: Richard Gannon

Managing Partner, Winning Strategies/Global

Mr. Richard Gannon, J.D. '91, is the Managing Partner of Winning Strategies/Global, where he directs the international affairs practice as well as the legislative and executive branch efforts for the firm. Prior to founding the firm, he served as Senior Advisor for Trade Development for the late-Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown. Before joining the Commerce Department, Mr. Gannon served as Special Counsel to the President in the White House Office of Presidential Personnel. He previously was Director of External Affairs for NJ Governor Jim Florio. In 1992, Gannon served as the New Jersey State Director for the successful Clinton/Gore election campaign. He served on the staffs of both US Senator Frank Lautenberg and Bill Bradley. Gannon earned his LLM in International and Comparative Law at Georgetown University Law Center and received his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Fordham University where he pitched for the Fordham Rams baseball team. He serves on the boards of several nonprofits and universities. He is married to Robin and they have two children, Brigid and John.
