Online Mental Health Screenings

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) welcomes you to the online screening for depression, anxiety, alcohol, and eating disorders. The screening is taken anonymously and is available for all SHU students free of charge. After completing the screening, you will find out in a few minutes whether talking to a professional counselor would be helpful to you.

To access the questionnaire, please click on the following: Online Mental Health Screening.

If after filling out the questionnaire, you have additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our office to set up an appointment. We can be reached Monday - Friday, 8:45 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.  We are located in Mooney Hall on the 2nd Floor.  If you feel you are currently experiencing a psychological emergency, please call Campus Security at (973) 761-9300 and they can put you in touch with one of our on-call counselors.
