Have you been trying to figure out how to post pictures on Facebook, looking for decorating ideas on Pinterest, or wondering which hashtags to use on Instagram? Not sure where to begin? Seton Hall can help you get there with our 2-day, Social Media Boot Camp on Saturday October 7 and 14, 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Taught by Danielle Mirliss, who has worked in instructional design at Seton Hall University's Teaching, Leaning and Technology Center, the workshops are geared to those who are new to social media, but eager to explore the possibilities.
Still wondering why get into social?
It’s a Great Way to Stay Connected - Facebook is used by more than 1.8 billion people around the globe. More than half of Americans (including your own friends and family) are on one type of social media each day.
It’s a Powerful Marketing Resource – 75% of consumers have bought something they’ve seen on social media. If you want to reach your customers, or become a more engaged consumer, using social media is a must.
It’s an Essential Professional Tool – Whether you’re recruiting new employees, or monitoring your company’s image, engaging with social media is becoming a part of our professional routines.
Our two-day boot camp, offered through Seton Hall's Division of Continuing Education and Professional Studies, is designed for people who are ready to dive into social media. The hands-on workshops will be held in a computer lab on campus, where participants will be using social media tools such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Snapchat.
