Today's Business, a local digital advertising agency specializing in areas such as Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Graphic Design and Digital Development, has been a valued partner of Seton Hall's Career Center since 2012. Since then, over twenty undergrads from the Stillman School of Business, the College of Arts & Sciences, and the College of Communication and the Arts have had successful intern semesters with the organization in public relations, graphic design and digital development.
According to Chaz Cervino, managing partner, "Our partnership with Seton Hall University has been an integral role in building our internship program. We are always impressed with SHU's career fairs, as well as student development, preparedness, and passion for education. We're excited to continue recruiting the students of Seton Hall and for our partnership to continue to flourish."
Sean Doherty (class of 2014) is currently an Account Manager at Today's Business, responsible for clients in a variety of industries, including professional sports, food, and healthcare. His internship at the organization led to his full time position. "The amount of firsthand experience I received throughout my internship was invaluable. After the internship, they gave me the opportunity to rise up the ranks within the company."
Sean Saint Jacques, junior public relations major, is interning this fall as at Today's Business. His intern responsibilities include writing and editing content for many of Today's Business clients and their websites. Sean says "I have more insight into the public relations industry and have received hands-on experiences that actually help the company grow, which has been great."
Students should check "Navigator" for open positions at Today's Business and look for representatives at upcoming career fairs and networking forums.
