Miller Analogies Test (MAT)

The Career Center serves as a testing site for the Miller Analogies Test (MAT) for graduate admission. The test is open to the public and is offered in Computer-Based format. Testing dates and times are offered throughout the year.

Test Fee
The cost is $90 to take the Computer-Based MAT. Payment for the exam can be made by credit card, check, money order, or cash. Checks or money orders should be made out to “Seton Hall University.”

To Register
Print out and complete the MAT Registration Form. Submit form with payment to The Career Center, either via telephone, in-person or by U.S. mail.

NOTE: An e-mail will follow upon receipt of payment and completed registration form. Registration is not confirmed until this e-mail is received. The Career Center must receive your payment at least 10 days prior to the testing date.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least two (2) business days prior to the MAT test date for refund. A $50 Non-Refundable Service Fee will be charged for any cancellation or rescheduling request made after the (2) business days and for any No-Shows on the test date. To cancel your registration, please call The Career Center at (973) 761-9355 and speak with a staff member. You will receive confirmation of your cancellation request via e-mail.

Requesting an accommodation for the MAT
The MAT requires that individuals follow a formal process to request an accommodation.

Note: An accommodation request and supporting documents must be received by The Career Center test site administrator at least 6 weeks before the desired exam date to provide adequate time for processing and confirmation of eligibility by MAT.
