Stillman School of Business Named a 'Best Business School' by The Princeton Review

stillman 2The Princeton Review has named the Stillman School's on-campus MBA in its list of "Best Business Schools for 2020." This is the thirteenth consecutive year that the Stillman School has been named in the listing.

"We recommend the Stillman School as an excellent choice for a student aspiring to earn an MBA," said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review's editor-in-chief.

The Princeton Review editors agree that the Stillman MBA program lives up to the school's strong reputation. They describe the academic experience as hands-on, encouraging students to be prepared to roll up their sleeves and "get busy." The Career Center was also highlighted for having several counselors who are specially designated to help graduate business students with their career goals.

To compile the list, data is collected from a survey of administrators at business schools during the 2018–19 academic year. The administrator survey, which numbered more than 200 questions, covered topics from academic offerings and admission requirements to data about currently enrolled students as well as graduates' employment. There is also a student survey, which is conducted over a multi-year period and includes responses from more than 20,700 students. Students are asked about academics, student body and campus life as well as questions on career plans.

Franek added, "What makes our 'Best Business School' designation unique is that we take into account the opinions of students about their campus and classroom experiences."

In their survey responses, students shared the following:

"Seton Hall University is one of the most prestigious universities in the area."

"Great mix of industry experience among students."

"Everyone is eager to learn and help others around them."

"The subject material is made very relevant to modern business."

"The Trading Room is equipped with Bloomberg terminals, which is a nice touch."

"Presentations, in-class discussions and group assignments are a vital part of every course."

"[Stillman] attracts excellent adjunct professors from nearby corporations in New York City and Northern New Jersey."
