Stillman School’s Part-time MBA Named One of the Best by U.S. News & World Report

MBA ranked 57thU.S. News & World Report's 2018 Best Graduate Schools guide ranked the Stillman School of Business 57th in the nation for part-time M.B.A.s, up from 102nd the year before.

U.S. News considered only those programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International — the highest standard of achievement for business schools and a distinction attained by less than 5 percent of business schools worldwide. Additional factors considered in the ranking include a peer assessment score; GMAT/GRE scores; average undergraduate GPA; work experience; and the percentage of MBA enrollment that is part-time.

"We've made some significant changes to strengthen our MBA program, with a focus on leveraging our strong alumni connections and increasing opportunities for students to engage in relevant, hands-on learning throughout their coursework," said Joyce Strawser, dean of the Stillman School of Business. "We are very pleased to see the impact that these changes have had on our ranking."

Specific enhancements to the redesigned MBA program include a Practice Partners program, pairing successful professionals with Stillman's distinguished faculty; a company spotlight throughout all core courses; opportunity for students to choose an existing specialization or create their own track; a team-consulting project with an actual client; and increased flexibility both in terms of points of entry into the program and course delivery.

In the fall, the Stillman School was also named a "Best Business School" by The Princeton Review, the tenth consecutive year it has received that honor, and was recommended by The Princeton Review as "one of the best to earn an MBA."
