The most recent Seton Hall Sports Poll was featured in print, radio and television by various media outlets including CBS, Fox News, the New York Post, Yahoo Finance, CNBC, the Huffington Post, Daily Wire and a host of others.
The Poll, sponsored by the Sharkey Institute and the Stillman School of Business, examined popular opinion regarding the NFL anthem protests, the players' right to protest, President Trump's call for the protesters to be fired and the response from the NFL’s commissioner and a number of team owners.
The poll showed overwhelming support for NFL players' right to protest, but a great variance in how people thought that should be carried out. The poll also found a surprisingly large number of people citing the anthem protests as the reason they are watching less NFL—in protest both against and in favor of the NFL players.
