U.S. News & World Report's 2018 America's Best Colleges guide has ranked the Stillman School of Business among the "Best Undergraduate Business Programs." The School is ranked 109, rising more than 20 places in the last two years.
Only business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business are considered for inclusion in the business program ranking — the results of which are based solely on peer assessment surveys.
"My colleagues and I are so proud of this increase in our ranking, another external affirmation of the quality of Stillman's faculty, its students and its programs. We are distinguished by a focus on ethics-centered education that transforms concepts into practice, preparing our students for the challenges of the business world," said Joyce Strawser, dean of the Stillman School of Business. "We are especially pleased that our peers — deans and associate deans at AACSB-accredited business schools — recognize the School's excellence."
U.S. News' recognition of the Stillman School's academic excellence is just one of many in the last year.
- The Gerald P. Buccino '63 Center for Leadership Development earned, for a third consecutive year, a #1 ranking in the LEAD Awards
- After being crowned regional champions at an event sponsored by the New York Society of Security Analysts, a team of business students went on to win the Certified Financial Analysts Institute Research Challenge for the Americas
- As a result of their job placement success, the Department of Accounting and Taxation has been chosen to present at this year's NYC College Board Forum, the preeminent annual gathering of K–12, higher education and college access professionals
Moreover, accolades are not limited to the School's undergraduate programs. Listed as one of U.S. News & World Report's "Best Grad Schools for Part-time MBAs" as well as a Princeton Review "Best Business School," the Stillman School is recognized for having outstanding academic offerings within its graduate business programs as well.
