The Executive Director of the Joseph A. Unanue Latino Institute, Stephanie Macias-Arlington, is one of 25 select honorees across the state of New Jersey to be recognized as a 2018 Top 25 Leading Women Brand Builder. Leading Women Entrepreneurs (LWE) Network, the host and organizer of the Top 25 recognition event, is a media organization dedicated to recognizing women business leaders and innovators in their field. A total of 75 honorees were selected across three categories: Entrepreneurs, Intrapreneurs, and Brand Builders.
The awards ceremony took place at the Fiddler's Elbow County Club in Bedminster Township on Friday, September 21.
The event included a luncheon, exhibitor expo, welcome remarks by Congressman Leonard Lance, and a keynote presentation by Chief Executive Officer of AON Risk Solutions, Lori Goltermann.
Macias-Arlington was awarded the recognition based on her work and dedication to the Seton Hall University Joseph A. Unanue Latino Institute. Under her leadership, the Latino Institute has amplified its visibility on campus, increased scholarships to students that demonstrated academic success and financial need, and collaborated with community partners, University departments, and Latino/a student organizations to promote various events and initiatives for the campus community.
"This prestigious group of women was selected out of hundreds of impressive nominations based on their strong business acumen and ability to both influence and inspire within their respective industries," Linda Wellbrock, the founder and CEO of LWE, said.
"Their tremendous accomplishments are representative of the increasing impact women are making in the world of business."
Honorees of Leading Women Entrepreneurs gain access to a wide array of networking opportunities and help create a sustainable, ongoing environment that brings leaders together and showcases their attributes and contributions.
Thank you, Stephanie, for all you do at the Institute and congratulations on your recognition!
