Young Alumni Opportunities this Summer  

Typically, the Young Alumni Club hosts an annual Summer Reunion in June. While this signature summer event did not look like it has in the past, the Club pivoted and hosted a virtual mixology class in partnership with Jersey Drinks located in Hoboken, New Jersey.

This event was moderated by Jersey Drinks Founder and Chief Cocktail Creator, Lia Giachino. Nearly 50 attendees learned how to craft 3 specialty cocktails in a virtual, interactive class: a hot honey paloma, a watermelon lemonade and a summer-themed Moscow mule. Tips, tricks and fun boozy trivia were shared along the way as attendees crafted cocktails to perfection. Through this event, fellow young alumni Pirates came together and showed their Pirate Pride during the unique experience. The Club plans to host the 37th annual Young Alumni Summer Reunion at Bar Anticipation in Lake Como next year, so stay tuned for more information!

The Club's executive board serves as a liaison between the University and its young alumni population, who are undergraduate alumni of the past 10 years. The club is comprised of graduates of the past 10 years. The Club's executive board is a group of volunteers who plan events and other opportunities that allow young alumni to foster relationships with fellow Pirates. Programs include social events, such as brewery tours and happy hours, professional development, and volunteer opportunities.
