Seton Hall Announces New Graduate Scholarships for Alumni

Putting important plans on hold was among the many challenges we faced over the past year. But gratefully, we can now look ahead and revisit the goals we set for ourselves.

For some Seton Hall alumni, that means the possibility of earning an advanced degree is on the horizon.

To help our graduates realize their dream of attending grad school, the University has pledged $250,000 in scholarships for recent graduates and alumni planning to pursue a graduate-level education.

There are 45 online and on-campus programs included in the Alumni Graduate Scholarship program.

The scholarships are being funded through a University grant that applies to 45 of our world class master's programs. This fund, first established in 2020, will supplement the substantial scholarship pool that is already allocated to the schools and colleges yearly and is distributed as Dean's Scholarships to eligible students for all graduate degree studies.

"As we emerge from the pandemic, economists are predicting a robust job market in the U.S., particularly in fields including health care, education and technology," said Christopher Cuccia, associate provost for Graduate Affairs. "We want to see our alumni equipped with the confidence and credentials to pursue the career path they envision. As their alma mater, Seton Hall will do everything it can to help make that possible."

Students can enroll in either part-time or full-time study and must carry at least six credit-hours per semester to receive this funding. Graduating seniors (Class of 2021) are eligible as are alumni from the classes of 2011- 20.

Featuring world-class faculty as well as convenience and flexibility, Seton Hall offers over a hundred rigorous master's programs in fields such as Data Science, Counseling, Psychology, Communication, Social Work, Education, the Humanities, Athletic Training, Business Analytics, Public Administration, Nursing, Finance, Healthcare Administration, and International Affairs. In addition to its breadth of programs, the University also provides a variety of traditional, interdisciplinary, and joint degree options, both on-ground and online.
