As we enter the season of thanks and gratitude, the Seton Hall Student Alumni Association (SAA) has decided to run its celebration of philanthropy and Seton Hall's loyalty program, True Blue, throughout the month of November.
This November will be known to the Seton Hall community as True Blue Month. Now in its third year, True Blue Month is an award-winning program, having been recognized by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education – Affiliated Student Advancement Programs for "Outstanding Student Advancement Program." All month long, students will host educational programs that focus on teaching the Seton Hall community about philanthropy and showing gratitude to University donors. The entire Seton Hall community is invited to participate in True Blue Month on campus or online through several activities:
Employee Donor Breakfast
A thank you to faculty and staff members who financially support Seton Hall.
Thursday, November 1 at 8 a.m. Jubilee Hall Atrium
Employee Donor Thank You Day
SAA members will thank Seton Hall donors with a Pirate Pride recognition piece that can be displayed in their offices. True Blue members will receive an additional thank you gift.

True Blue Day
All Seton Hall community members on the South Orange and IHS campuses are invited to stop at a card-signing station to write personalized thank you notes to a Seton Hall supporter. Student participants will be entered into a prize-winning raffle.
One of the most important aspects of True Blue Day is visually demonstrating the impact donors have on Seton Hall's campus. As members walk around the University throughout the day, they will notice flags around the Green that symbolize the number of donors dedicated to the enhancing the Seton Hall experience. They will also notice bows in and around buildings and campus structures which indicate items that were gifted to Seton Hall.

All Month Long
Become True Blue
True Blue for Seton Hall is in its sixth year and provides Pirates with a four-step program to demonstrate their loyalty and pride while investing in current and future Seton Hall students. The four steps are:
- Update your information. Ensure that Seton Hall has your most up-to-date address, phone number and email.
- Volunteer or attend an event. There are many opportunities for Pirates to attend an event or volunteer. There are even virtual events and volunteer opportunities so that no matter the distance or time constraints, every Pirate can complete this step toward becoming True Blue.
- Make a gift to Seton Hall. Designate your gift of any amount to the area of your choice. Support your school or college, a student organization or specific scholarship fund.
- Show Pirate Pride. Share your photo with us on social media. We want to see you wearing Seton Hall gear or taking a Pirate bandana with you on your travels.
