Roberta Devlin-Scherer, Ed.D.

Dr. Roberta Devlin-Scherer serves as the Advisor to the Student Education Association (SEA Pirates).

Dr. Devlin-Scherer specializes in curriculum and instruction, focusing on best practices in methods and assessment. Her background teaching in middle and high school, birth-3 home visit program, elementary resource room, residential special education settings, and trainer for National Diffusion Network Programs informs her courses. Research interests include effects of teaching practices and training programs; for the past three years she has been investigating the effects of using gaming in classrooms.
