What Makes a Successful Leader?

How can leaders optimize performance, manage diverse teams, and negotiate the social, political and technological challenges after the pandemic in the 21st century? How can leaders have an authentic impact?

The Essentials for the 21st-Century Leadership 4-day course from Seton Hall’s Buccino Leadership Institute provides an overview of the factors essential for effective, performance-based leadership. This course is designed for practitioners – those in leadership positions or aspiring to lead.

During the four sessions, discussion will focus upon the individual mindset, group influences, and forces emanating across entire social systems. The ideas and concepts will be immediately applicable for participants in any industry or discipline. 

The course will take place online via Microsoft Teams.

This online course will take place over 4 days
Thursday evenings/Saturday mornings

  • Thursday, March 23,  7 - 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 25, 9 - 11 a.m.
  • Thursday, March 30, 7 - 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 1, 9 - 11 a.m.

This noncredit course is open to current and prospective Seton Hall graduate students at no cost. Please email ceps@shu.edu to learn more.

For external participants, it will cost $199 for the entire module.
