Graduate Program Overview
The Master of Arts in Strategic Communication (MASC)Program offers students academically challenging courses that provide insight and practical strategies to succeed in the rapidly changing corporate and organizational world. The program uniquely develops the critical skills of communication and leadership in ways that can be immediately applied in practice.The master's degree program operates on a "learn it, apply it" philosophy. What students learn in class can be applied in the workplace immediately. Students are challenged to think creatively, apply state-of-the-art technology, and sharpen their leadership and communication skills in a dynamic, small-classroom environment.
The graduate program attracts a diverse group of students and faculty whose backgrounds in corporate, government and non-profit sectors, in the United States and abroad, contribute to the overall learning experience. Telecommunications, healthcare, entertainment, and pharmaceuticals are some of the many industries that are represented by students and faculty within the program. The 36-credit program is designed to meet the professional needs of each student.
Courses are offered on a flexible
evening, weekend and online class schedule. We offer courses in the Fall,
Spring and Summer. You can apply to start in any semester.
