Seton Hall Alumnus Appointed Inaugural Esports Coordinator

Seton Hall University proudly congratulates Kevin Craig, an esteemed alumnus, on his recent appointment as the inaugural Esports Coordinator at Stony Brook University (SBU). A former League of Legends Esports Champion and integral member of Seton Hall’s BIG EAST Championship-winning team, Kevin exemplifies dedication, skill, and leadership within our institution and on the competitive gaming stage.

Craig's journey from a standout player to a leadership role in SBU’s growing esports program is a testament to the rich culture of excellence cultivated at Seton Hall University. Since his appointment at SBU, the program has achieved remarkable success, including becoming the Redbull Campus Clutch NY Regional Champion in Valorant, the Fall 2023 NACE SSBU Grand Champions, the Fall 2023 NECC SSBU Grand Champions, and NACE Varsity Plus Valorant Division Champions. 

Craig is diligently applying the lessons learned first-hand as a Seton Hall Pirate, noting, “I am incredibly grateful for my experience during my undergraduate, both as a player and a student for the SHU Esports program. The invaluable knowledge that I gained allowed me to step right into a brand-new program and hit the ground running to develop Stony Brook Esports into one of the best programs possible.”
