Rocket League Team Set to Defend BIG EAST Title

Seton Hall's Rocket League team is gearing up to defend their BIG EAST title at Butler Esports Park in Indianapolis on Friday, March 15. With a standout 4-1 regular season record, the Pirates enter playoffs determined to secure a third consecutive championship win.
The University's Esports squad is ready to take on tough competitors in the BIG EAST finals, such as DePaul University, Butler University, and St. John's University, all of whom ended the regular season with a 3-2 record. The Rocket League team’s strategic gameplay, honed through rigorous training and expert leadership from Coach Antonio Riozzi and Team Captain Kevin Minch, positions the Pirates as a formidable opponent capable of taking on any challenge.
“Today marks a historic opportunity for our university in the Big East," remarked Victor Gomez, esports manager, in regard to the finals. "With our team primed and eager, and the entire campus buzzing with anticipation for the Men’s Basketball team’s playoff run as well, our Rocket League players have one goal: to defend our title and bring the trophy home to the Hall.”
The BIG EAST tournament follows a double elimination format, kicking off with Seton Hall's best-of-five match against DePaul University at 3 p.m. EST, followed by Butler University versus St. John's University at 3:45 p.m. EST.
